The TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s Workforce (Early Years Educator) is designed for individuals who want to work as fully qualified early years professionals. It focuses on child development, safeguarding, play-based learning, leadership in early years, and working with families and professionals.

This qualification meets the Early Years Educator (EYE) standards, ensuring learners are well-prepared to support children’s learning, development, and well-being in early years settings

The course is workplace-based, requiring learners to complete practical assessments and a portfolio of evidence.

Assessment methods include observations, written assignments, reflective accounts, professional discussions, and work-based tasks.

Upon successful completion, learners will receive the TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s Workforce (Early Years Educator), fully recognised within the early years sector.

• Learners must be at least 16 years old.
• A Level 2 qualification in childcare (or relevant experience) is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required for work placements.

• Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Early Years – Understand how to promote inclusive practices and support children from all backgrounds.
• Observation, Assessment, and Planning – Learn how to monitor children’s progress and create individualised learning plans.

As part of your course, you will receive a 1-2-1 induction session with your tutor via Microsoft Teams. This session is designed to help you get started, set clear goals, and ensure you have the right support in place for a successful learning experience.

All assessments for your course are set and marked internally to ensure a high standard of learning and feedback. Simply submit your work to your dedicated course tutor, who will carefully review your assessments and provide constructive feedback to support your progress.

Once you have successfully completed all required assessments, your work will go through our Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process. This ensures that marking is consistent, fair, and meets the required standards. During this process:

• Your assessments may be moderated by an internal quality assurer to verify accuracy and consistency.
• This additional review helps maintain the integrity and credibility of your qualification.
•  If any further amendments are needed, you’ll be provided with clear guidance on what to improve.

Once your work has passed through the IQA process and meets all necessary standards, your certification will be issued, officially confirming your successful course completion.
