No previous coaching qualifications are required—just a passion for helping others grow.

To enrol on this course, learners should:

• Be 18 years or older
• Have an interest in (or responsibility for) coaching or mentoring others
• Have a good standard of written English and communication skills
• Ideally have access to a work or voluntary environment where you can coach/mentor others (real or simulated)

   • Analysing your approach
   • Using feedback to improve performance
   • Planning future development

This qualification is assessed through written assignments, practical evidence, and reflections. There are no exams.

How You’ll Be Assessed:

• Written tasks explaining theory and principles
• Evidence of planning and delivering coaching or mentoring sessions
• Session plans, observation notes, and feedback forms
• Reflective accounts and personal development plans

How It’s Marked:

• Work is marked by a qualified tutor
• Feedback provided with guidance for improvement
• You can resubmit work if needed to meet the required standards
• Once all units are complete, your qualification is awarded by a recognised awarding body
